Previous clinical studies using L-Carnitine supplementation have noted improvements in some cardiovascular risk factors (such as LDL, total cholesterol, and blood pressure).[3,4,5,8] Supplementation with L-Carnitine has also been found to improve feelings of hunger and fatigue induced by fasting in individuals with metabolic syndrome.[6] And, a 2020 systematic review and meta-analysis of 37 randomized controlled clinical trials found that: l-carnitine supplementation provides a modest reducing effect on body weight, BMI and fat mass, especially among adults with overweight/obesity.
