glad you asked, I find shellfish harvesting to be one of the more tedious tasks, yet with a bio engineer I also find the resources highly helpfull to collect in bulk.
stand in water and fire the macro oh… assuming you have the shellfish tool in toolbarSlot 00 ( first on the left )
